The Zamir Chorale and Zamir Noded will celebrate Hanukkah and other miracles with a joint performance at Merkin Concert Hall on Sunday evening, December 10 at 7:30 p.m.
In addition to anticipating Hanukkah, this concert will mark 120 years since the first Zionist Congress, the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, and the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, with music by American, European and Israeli composers.
The Zamir Chorale is in its 57th year as America's foremost Hebrew-singing, Zionist choir. Zamir Noded, for young adults aged 18-30, is the newest ensemble of the Zamir Choral Foundation, now in its 5th year. Both ensembles are under the direction of Maestro Matthew Lazar.
